Which version should I choose?
Content and yield are the same for both versions of Power2Influence®. Your specific choice depends on your learning preference; with or without an evening programme.
Structure Power2Influence® | 3-day course
Power2Influence® is a blended learning training programme, designed to enable you to work on your influencing skills in a very intensive way.
Pre-work: Personal intake & Influence Style Questionnaire
One month before the course days, you receive an invitation to activate your profile in the Influence Hub®, our online learning platform. Here, you complete your Personal Intake to define your learning objectives and the Influence Style Questionnaire, a 360-degree assessment of your influencing approach. In addition we ask you to invite (max 7) supporters from work to provide feedback on your influence behaviour as well.
Day 1
On day 1 you get to know the group, the trainer and the programme. You start with an assessment exercise where you deploy and discuss your preferred influence behaviour. This is followed by a theoretical discussion of The Influence Model®. Afterwards, you complete an assessment of your own influence behaviour and translate this into specific learning objectives. Then we begin the exploration of the first influence styles.
Day 2
You explore even more the power of the different influence styles from The Influence Model® and learn to deploy these effectively using short role plays along with other exercises. This is followed by a set of exercises that match your developmental needs. Examples are: one-to-one discussions, meeting exercises or other group exercises.
Day 3
On the last day you work with your Critical Influence Situation (CIS). This is an influence situation from your work life, that is important for you to succeed in, and which you can perform in the near future.
The next step
You return to your daily work life, where you consciously work on the action points, which you set at the last course day and also apply your new influence skills . You still have access to the Influence Hub® for your evaluation, impact assessment, and various job aids to support you in the use of your newly acquired skills.
Structure Power2Influence® | 4-day course
The components and structure from the 3 days course are maintained with the only differences that the content is spread over 4 days, and there is no evening programme. For some participants, ‘off time’ in the evening is preferred in terms of learning style.
