Pre-work: Personal intake
One month before the training, you will receive an invitation to reflect on relevant situations to bring to the session for discussion and practice. Additionally, you will complete the DiSC or Insights Discovery assessment, which will be explored during the training.
Day 1: Assertiveness, self-awareness, & conflict handling
On day 1, you will focus on becoming a more assertive and self-aware leader. You will explore key topics like assertive behaviour and conflict resolution. You will also dive into your personal leadership profile, identifying strengths and areas for growth. The day includes practical exercises and role plays to apply your learnings.
Day 2: Situational leadership
On day 2, you will learn how to apply different leadership styles based on the situation and the needs of the people you lead. You’ll explore the principles of situational leadership and practice adapting your approach for more effective results. Interactive exercises will help you apply these concepts in real-world contexts.
Day 3: Coaching, team development, & handling difficult conversations
On day 3, you’ll focus on how to apply coaching as a leadership tool, foster team development, and manage difficult conversations. You’ll learn how to identify your team’s development needs and apply leadership techniques to support their growth. Additionally, you’ll practice strategies to handle challenging conversations that strengthen relationships while achieving goals. The final part of the training is to apply the tools from a difficult situation out of your own professional life in order to enable you to handle this in reality.
