The day begins with a brief exercise to assess your natural approach to assertiveness. Then, we will dive into the theory of ‘Asserting’ from The Influence Model®, reinforcing the core skills essential for effective assertive behaviour. The focus will shift to real-world applications, where you’ll work on practical cases – bringing your own challenges if desired. We will also explore mental blocks – internal beliefs that hinder assertiveness – and provide strategies to overcome them.
By the end of the session, you will have a deeper understanding of assertiveness, actionable strategies to overcome obstacles, and a more confident, assertive presence. You will leave empowered to handle challenging situations with clarity and drive positive impact, while expanding your professional network through connections with other participants.

Many organizations struggle with their teams not performing optimally. This is often caused by a lack of influence, effectiveness, and communication within the organization. As a result, they miss opportunities, waste valuable resources, and risk falling behind the competition.
At The Influence Company, we understand this issue and offer an effective solution. Our Become More Assertive in-house course is designed to enhance the personal effectiveness, leadership, and communication skills of your team members. With our proven approach, we help your organisation to a higher level of success!
Why your team should follow the Become More Assertive training:
